In February 2022, the Red Flag E-HS9 held a delivery ceremony in Norway. According to statistics from the Norwegian Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in January 2022, the Red Flag brand sold 175 units in the Norwegian market. In the segment of large and medium-sized pure electric SUVs, the E-HS9 model ranked fourth.

On June 9, 2022, FAW Hongqi officially announced the launch of the new Hongqi E-HS9, with a price range of 509800 to 779800 yuan.
