In terms of active safety and advanced driver assistance, except for the entry version, the rest of the E8 is equipped with L2 level driver assistance system, which includes active braking, ACC full speed area cruise, lane keeping and other common features. In addition, the current official also launched a limited time preferential policy, the purchase of the entry-level version of the L2 level of assistance driving system. As for the advanced driving assistance system with LiDAR, it is exclusive to the top smart driving version.
In terms of seats, the E8 comes standard with a 4D cloud sensing slow rebound seat, as well as power adjustment for the main and passenger seats. In addition, the passenger seat back also supports 180° flat, convenient for users to rest in the car.
In terms of power, the Galaxy E8 offers both 400V and 800V voltage platforms. Among them, the 400V adopts a single motor rear drive layout, with 200kW, 343N·m power, 0-100km/h acceleration 5.95 seconds, the top speed 190km/h. The top model uses the 800V platform + dual motor four-drive layout, with 475kW, 710N·m power, 0-100km/h acceleration only 3.49 seconds, the top speed of 210km/h, the performance is very good. In terms of battery life, the E8 uses lithium iron phosphate batteries, of which the 400V platform is equipped with 62 and 76kWh batteries, and the corresponding CLTC life is 550 and 665km, respectively. The top 800V platform is equipped with a 75.6kWh battery, and the CLTC has a range of 620km. It should be noted that the electronic control of the 400V platform is not exactly the same, specifically, the version of the electric control with a life of 550km still uses IGBT power devices, while the version with a life of 665km is the same as the top with SiC power devices.
